I offer Group Classes, 1-1 private sessions and 1-1 private consultations, see below for full details of each service

Group Classes

Classes are kept small, so that everyone gets the individual help and attention that they need.

 

It is important that this early learning is a positive, fun experience for your pup so we structure sessions around confidence and bonding exercises. Your puppy will be exposed to visual and sensory items for socialisation.

 

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge you need to ensure your puppy grows into a confident, polite family and society member.

Support is available between classes, so once you're enrolled, help is always only a phone call or message away.

What you will learn:

  • Eye contact/focus

  • Settle

  • Reward hierarchy

  • Recall/reflex to name

  • The foundations of loose lead walking

  • Food and door manners

  • Basic obedience, such as sit and down and how to add the 3d’s of training.

  • How to deal with puppy biting (yes, they do nip!!), jumping up and chewing.

  • We will discuss basic husbandry and equipment and how to prepare your puppy for vets and groomers.

  • You will learn the basics of body language and how to teach your puppy to interact politely with other dogs and people.

  • We will discuss resource guarding and how to prevent it.

  • We will discuss separation anxiety and how to prevent it.

  • Classes are held outside.

Cost: £120.00 for 6 sessions. Each session is 1 hour.

1-1 Programme

Would you prefer a private programme?

 

The 1-1’s offer the same approach as our Group Classes but take place in and around your own home, enabling us to deal with any specific areas you may be struggling with. It is recommended that all family members are present for these sessions.

Support is available between private sessions, so once you're enrolled, help is always only a phone call or message away.

£180 for 4 sessions or £50.00 for a single session. Each session is 1 hour.

Pre Puppy 1-1 Consultations

Are you thinking of getting a puppy? These 1-1 sessions take place at your home before your puppy arrives. We can help you choose the right breed/type of dog that will suit lifestyle and ability. Or if you already have a breed in mind, we will help ensure that you have everything in place for the arrival of your new family member.

What you will learn:

  • Crate training

  • How to toilet train

  • Puppy appropriate chews and toys

  • Harness and lead acclimatisation

  • Early socialisation (what it means and how to go about it in and around the home before your puppy is vaccinated)

  • Common household hazards

  • A general overview of this important developmental stage and what to expect

  • How to introduce recall and reflex to name from day one

  • We will also answer any questions that you have

£50 for single session. Each session is 1 hour.
